Currently, high and medium risk countries are designated as follows through the President’s speech, with the information from the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Transport.

The high-risk countries are:

  • China
  • France
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Iran
  • South Korea
  • Spain
  • Switzerland
  • the United Kingdom
  • the United States of America

Medium-risk countries are:

  • Hong Kong
  • Portugal
  • Singapore

Always ensure to consult the Department of Home Affairs website and the latest Travel Advisory issued by the national government of South Africa. Details and updates can be viewed here on the website of the Department of Home Affairs.
